company annunciated news portal iDNES.cz and in cooperation with
magazine Chip, new year of competition Best Mobile Solution 2005 for
all developers of mobile applications.
Till
the end of may could sign on their solutions everybody who was
interested in this competition. They competed in two categories:
applications M2M (Machine to
Machine, for private and business using) and applications M2P
(Machine to Person, for private and business using). Using of these
services is becoming more popular nowadays and the most often is
using to distant data collections, to remote controlling of machines
or in secure solutions of houses or cars.
The
winner in the first category, M2M (Machine to Machine, for private
and business using), was Conel with its system AGNES. AGNES is
universal communication network for two-way data communication, for
example between programmable automates PLC, warm, gas or electricity
indicators, dispersers or winning automates. System allows data
exchange, not only between end-point and centre, but also between
end-points. There can be connected thousands of end-points at once to
the network.
In
the second category, M2P (Machine to Person, for private and business
using), won application MMS Maps by developers from iCom
Vision. This

great assistant for orientation in towns and in terrain of Czech
Republic to all consumers. It offers exact determination of finding
place on the map. Consumers need only phone which supports JAVA and
services SMS, WAP and GPRS. Creators came from well known model of

like a net browser. Fill in, for example, name of street you would
like to find and you will receive MMS with part of map, where this
street is situated. In the future, the application should be extended
with "route
scheduler".
