Interview of our Senior SW Developer Peter Knut:

How did you get to iCom Vision?

In 2007, I successfully finished my studies at Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University in Prague. After graduated I began looking for some job. I was already working in IT department of one telecommunication company during my studies. About iCom Vision I heard from my friend, who said me, that if I want to work in dynamic company which is full of friendly people, I have to try it there. I tried it and now I am one of the iCom Vision´s employees.

How were your beginnings in company?

Great! Everybody was very friendly to me and I fall for style of working at once.

What do you mean by that?

After starting in iCom Vision I was given hard tasks. I liked it, because I saw that they trust me and take me seriously. Of course, I didn´t knew everything at the beginning, but there were always colleagues, which helps me.

How do you like your “being“ in iCom Vision till now?

Except of self-enforcement which is company giving me every day, I also like self-reliance. If I have got any task, it´s up to me how I will do it.

So take it easy! Are you doing anything you want?!

Absolutely not! In iCom Vision is primary important final product. So everything has to be done properly and at time. If it is so, everybody is happy and I am happy too

OK, but life isn´t only work.

Yes, absolutely, but thanks to this job I found a lot of new friends. We are all one big family because of many out-of-work activities. iCom holds beach volleyball tournaments, motorcars racing and everybody is really looking forward to Christmas party. That really rocks.

This means that iCom Vision is not only job for you?

It´s not. iCom Vision wasn´t “only job” for me for a short time. It´s a part of my life I really like.

What word you would like to send to those people who are interested in working in iCom Vision and they are still hesitating?

I would just tell them, that if they are interested in job, which is not “only a job“, they should write an e-mail on job@icomvision.com. We all are looking forward to them!
